Profile
About
I completed an enjoyable 35-year military career, mainly in operational command and staff positions across Canada and on four continents.
After retiring from the Canadian Armed Forces, I served as an analyst in the Library of Parliament, from 2005-2011, supporting the House of Commons Special Committee on the Canadian Mission in Afghanistan, the House of Commons Standing Committees on National Defence and Veterans Affairs, the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence, the Senate Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs and the Canadian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. I also served as the Vice-President Academic Affairs with the Canadian Military Intelligence Association from 2012-2015. For the last 10 years, I taught graduate level intelligence courses at Carleton and Wilfrid Laurier Universities, but now deliver an occasional intelligence seminar at Carleton University. I am privileged to be Chair, CIN/RCR.
