Jules Gaspard and Giangiuseppe Pili are two established scholars that have engaged the study of intelligence from a philosophical perspective. While their early work originated in their native Europe, Gaspard now teaches in Australia, and Pili teaches in the United States. They continue to generate substantial and valuable ideas well beyond what seems to be a persistent hesitancy in Canada, to think of intelligence as anything more than a product. See an abstract of their latest article, titled Root Values and Root Skills: A New Model for Intelligence Education at https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/02684527.2024.2390762
