Ladies and gentlemen,
Attached here is the US National Security Strategy 2025, for your review and comment through the lens of threats to Canadian sovereignty.
We will be conducting a VICS on Thursday, 15 January, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern, on Zoom, to discuss the nature of threats to Canadian sovereignty that might come from this document. Further information on the VICS will be published in the Groups Forum.
In the meantime, I invite you to share your comments here. We will be particularly interested in hearing of any effects in your particular area of intelligence work. Is there any change in working relationships among/with our closest allies?
Best regards,
Jim

With respect to the 2025 US national security strategy, much depends on whether the strategy is a symbolic statement that will quickly become irrelevant or if it is supported by subsequent actions.
