WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
Ladies and gentlemen,
I am very pleased to welcome two new members to CIN/RCR, Álvaro Franzani and David Larraguibel.
Álvaro Franzani is the manager of a change management team in the Department of Justice. One of his portfolios is AI awareness and culture for AI adoption in the department. It is important for him to be familiar with the different contexts in which legal professionals and Legal Services Units work, specifically in security and intelligence. David Larraguibel has been a member of the public service for 14 years as an employee of Ontario's Ministry of the Solicitor General as a Forensic Imaging Specialist working in death investigations. He is looking to move into crime and intelligence analysis with a focus on the use of Drone Operations and Tactics. He is keen to gain a better understanding of the Canadian intelligence apparatus from professionals actively working in the field. He has some serious studying ahead of him andI will be pursuing a graduate degree in Public Safety from Wilfrid Laurier University this fall, with a focus on National Security and Intelligence. Concurrently he will seek to complete the Advanced Certificate Program in National Security and Intelligence from the Professional Development Institute at the University of Ottawa.
