WELCOME NEW CIN/RCR MEMBERS

CIN/RCR continues to grow. I am greatly pleased to introduce the latest professionals to join our network.

Tony Van Deven is the Course NCO for the CAF Basic Intelligence Officer Course. He intends to pursue commissioning as an Intelligence Officer himself and is interested in participating in a professional intelligence environment like ours.

Igor Sljukic serves with 2 INT COY (Army Reserve) based in Toronto. He is quite passionate about his trade and is currently working on gaining a deeper understanding of his job and the trade in general. He looks forward to CIN/RCR networking opportunities and professional development. Since joining the CAF, Igor has been learning as much as possible, from his own research and skills enhanced by a nexus of practically guided experience and mentorship. He seeks opportunities to become more professional and effective, and he hopes to meet professionals that can help guide guide. In his civilian life, Igor is a robotics engineering student and president of his engineering student society. He also serves as his unit representative for the unit museum and leads research into Canadian intelligence history, most specifically Intelligence history related to 2nd Division and Camp X. https://www.2intelligencecompany.com/senate. Mike is a member of the Board and Membership Director of the Canadian Military Intelligence Organization. See more about Mike at https://www.linkedin.com/in/ablettmichael/.

Liam Fawcett works for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). As a newer member of the Canadian Intelligence Enterprise (CIE) (2 years experience) he feels it is important to learn more about the field of and methodologies employed in intelligence analysis/production from veterans in the field. He looks forward to contributing to the broader development and knowledge-sharing across the CIE and within CBSA.

It certainly is wonderful to have such a variety of talent join our ranks. Welcome to you all. We are happy to have you with us.

On a final note, I encourage all members to complete as much of their online CIN/RCR profile as they can. More information makes for better networking. It is particularly important that you upload a photo of yourself, so the system can display your full name.

Best regards,

Jim
